Panalpina named "Project Forwarder of the Year"

Panalpina, the global transport and logistics group, has received two more prestigious industry awards.

Last month, Panalpina was honored with two further awards as testimony to its outstanding performance and reliable service quality in different sectors and areas.

Project Forwarder of the Year 2006
At this year's Asia Logistics Awards 2006 held in Singapore, Panalpina was awarded as "Project Forwarder of the Year", elected by the readers of the three reputable industry magazines Freight Transport Buyer, Containerisation International and International Freighting Weekly in Asia, North America and Europe.

Panalpina's special project division offers integrated logistics, forwarding and management services for all types of turn-key project transports to various industries on a global scale. Among these are engineering procurement and construction companies, oil & gas and mining companies, power and energy providers as well as suppliers of other industrial plants, heavy and over dimensional equipment and modules, including manufacturers of railway rolling stock, steel and paper mills.

Also in November, Panalpina won the award as “The Best Logistics Company supporting the Export Industry 2006” in Panama, receiving the prestigious prize from the hand of the H.E. Alejandro Ferrer, Minister of Commerce and Industry of Panama.
