| In compliance with the Federal Act on Stock Exchanges and Securities Trading (Bundesgesetz über die Börsen und den Effektenhandel) Panalpina World Transport (Holding) Ltd. received the following notification on 19 November 2008:
Capital Group Companies, Inc., 333 South Hope Street, Los Angeles, CA, USA, announces that due to acquisition on 17 November 2008 the shareholdings of the mutual funds and institutional clients managed by the group companies Capital Research and Management Company, Capital Guardian Trust Company (both 333 South Hope Street, Los Angeles, CA, USA), Capital International Limited (40 Grosvenor Place, London, UK), Capital International Inc. (11100 Santa Monica Blvd, 15th Fl., Los Angeles, CA, USA) and Capital International S.A. (3 Place des Bergues, 1201 Geneva, CH), have been increased to 1 263 145 nominal shares, conferring 5.0526% of voting rights of Panalpina World Transport (Holding) Ltd. The aforementioned investment management companies are entitled to exercise such voting rights autonomously. Capital Group Companies, Inc. is holding 100% of shares of its subsidiaries Capital Research and Management Company und Capital Group International, Inc. Capital Research and Management Company thereby acts as investment manager of diverse mutual funds of The American Funds Group. Further Capital Group International, Inc. is holding 100% of shareholdings of the aforementioned companies Capital Guardian Trust Company, Capital International Limited, Capital International Inc. and Capital International S.A., that act as investment mangers of diverse institutional investors.
